Dropbox offers 2GB (free) for each user. It is based on the synchronization of files. This application is available for mobile devices.

It is a very useful application that allows you to have all the files around the world.

Scribd is an interactive web allows share text documents. To upload and edit text has to be registered with a Facebook account You can choose the type of privacy but not the language. You can invite people to view the files. You don't need to download files to view them.
